Regal Jumping Spider - Juvenile Female (Phidippus regius ‘Soroa’)

Phidippus regius ‘Soroa’ is a stunning locality of the Regal Jumping Spider, prized for its striking colours, curious personality, and confident nature. Originating from the Soroa region of western Cuba, this beautiful jumping spider is an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced keepers.

Like other Phidippus regius localities, the Soroa is an active, highly visual hunter that relies on exceptional eyesight rather than webs to catch its prey. Its inquisitive behaviour and tendency to observe its surroundings often make it one of the most engaging pet invertebrates available.

Adult females are typically larger and more robust than males, with beautiful orange, peach, or reddish markings that can vary between individuals. Males are smaller and slimmer, usually displaying a striking black-and-white colouration with iridescent green or blue chelicerae. As with all jumping spiders, each individual develops its own unique appearance as it matures.
